Elevated Living: Havelock Hillside Earns Green Mark Gold Plus

Havelock Hillside, JGP Architecture's Prime Location Public Housing development in Bukit Merah, has been awarded the Green Mark Award (Gold Plus) by Singapore's Building and Construction Authority (BCA) in 2025, recognising the project's environmental sustainability performance.

Located along Havelock Road near the upcoming Havelock MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line, the development comprises two residential towers of 42 and 45 storeys offering 869 units across 3-room and 4-room flat types. Its design draws on natural landscapes such as meadow plains, green terraces and hillocks, with each tower linked to a rooftop garden above the multi-storey car park via a curved bridge, alongside sky terraces and roof gardens throughout. First launched in HDB's August 2022 BTO exercise, the project is on track for completion around 2028.

The Gold Plus rating places Havelock Hillside among the higher tiers of BCA's Green Mark certification for new residential developments.
