Built Green: Parc Glen @ Tengah Earns Gold Plus Mark

Parc Glen @ Tengah, a 1,008-unit BTO development in Singapore's first eco-designed town, received the BCA Green Mark Award (Gold Plus) in 2022.
Parc Glen @ Tengah received the BCA Green Mark Award (Gold Plus) in 2022, recognising the sustainable design of the 10-block, 1,008-unit BTO development bounded by Tengah Road, Tengah Boulevard and Tengah Park Avenue.
The certification reflects Tengah's status as HDB's first town purpose-built to integrate housing with surrounding greenery and biodiversity, with a car-free town centre and town-wide smart infrastructure. GoldPlus is now the baseline BCA Green Mark tier HDB targets across its new developments, and buildings certified at that level are assessed on measures that recur across Tengah's precincts — a pneumatic waste conveyance system that channels refuse by air pressure to a centralised bin centre rather than truck collection, and rainwater harvesting through bioswales and bioretention basins that supply water for common-area cleaning and irrigation instead of drawing solely on mains supply.
Parc Glen @ Tengah has since added to its record, picking up a Certificate of Merit in the Completed Park Category at the HDB Landscape Award 2026.
